One shared screen. Different clues on every phone.

Talk it through and solve the case together.

The shared board shows the painting on its easel; two phones show the same canvas under an ultraviolet lamp and a raking light.
The Hallam Rooms: one painting on the board, and a different examination lamp on each phone.

How a case plays

1

One screen hosts

A laptop or TV becomes the shared board — the scene of the mystery, the clock, the evidence.

2

Every phone joins

Scan the room's QR code. Each phone gets different clues — papers nobody else can see.

3

Talking is the game

Compare what you found. Test a theory on the board. Piece together an answer none of you could find alone.

Questions, answered

What do we need?
One screen everyone can see and a phone per player. A browser — no accounts, no downloads, no app.
How many players?
2 to 6 is the design; 4 is the sweet spot. Playing over a video call works — one player shares the board.
How long is a case?
60–70 minutes, plus arguing about who knew it first. A relaxed mode drops the clock entirely.
Does it cost anything?
The cases marked FREE are free. Paid cases are €15 including VAT, a one-time purchase for your whole crew. One key opens the same case for up to three game nights. See the terms.
Can we replay a case?
The story and puzzles stay the same, so a mystery only surprises you once. The extra nights are for bringing a different crew — and watching them struggle. That never gets old.
